Download from a link
Paste the address and choose what you want: the full video (with audio), MP3, subtitles or thumbnail. The file is delivered as it is at the source, with no re-encoding, so it is faster and loses no quality.
Converting my own file
Use this when you already have the file and want another format: MP4 to MP3, WAV to MP3, a large video down to 720p. This one does re-encode, which is why it takes longer.
Why 320 kbps is not always worth it
Video services deliver audio that is already compressed, usually between 128 and 160 kbps. Converting that to 320 recovers no quality at all; it only makes the file bigger. MP3 192 is usually the best balance.
Automatic subtitles
When the video has no subtitles uploaded by the author, the system falls back to the platform's automatic transcript. It makes plenty of mistakes, especially with proper names.
Are the files kept?
No. The download link expires after 30 minutes and the file is deleted from disk. After that you have to download it again.
